Flipping a jig and throwing a Topwater frog can be two of the most productive baits you use in the summer. Early summer can be a tricky time of the year because some of the fish are post-spawn and some fish are still in the process of spawning. This could be due to water levels, fluctuating weather, etc. We got on a nice bite flipping shallow grass and bushes with flipping jigs and then got on a good frog bite late in the evening! Enjoy!
BAIT OF CHOICE: 1/2 oz Flipping Jig, and Hollow Bodied Frog
