GIANT RIVER BUFFALO FISH! | Fishing Frogs for Bass Under Trees

I’m bass fishing with Carson on the river in his jet boat going after largemouth bass on the bank. We caught a giant buffalo fish on a crankbait while we were bass fishing. The best fishing technique for big bass on this trip was using a frog and fishing in under trees in the shade. We caught Guadalupe bass and some other small bass on crankbaits and spinnerbaits but the biggest bass clearly wanted a frog. I’ll show you how to fish specific fishing lures in the river to catch bass. I’ll also share some of the fishing rods I’m using on this trip to make it easiest to cast where the bass are hiding. The river that we are fishing is located south of Austin, TX and it is a shallow rocky river that requires the use of a kayak or aluminum boat to get around to the various pools where fish are living.
