Took a trip to northern Michigan traveling form lake to lake in search for some giant smallies. Northern Michigan is one of the best places on earth to catch these bronzebacks. I went during the toughest time of the year also since there is a heat warning and drought with the lakes recently sprouting with many weeds. I managed to get a limit a day and a few great fish but defiantly one of the toughest fishing trip ever. Subscribe if your not to see the great stuff in the future. New cameras and a drone coming soon. Giveaway at 1000 subs.

“Fishin’ with the Pond Boss: How to Maintain Large Mouth Bass” Bob Lusk shows us some tips on fisheries management, and feed training large mouth bass.
How does largemouth bass nest fishing in Florida impact future generations of Florida’s premier freshwater sport fish? Male bass instinctively defend their nests, giving anglers a higher rate of fishing success. However, while the adults are away nest predators such as bluegill and other panfish eat the eggs and bass hatchlings. Researchers are studying the effects of nest fishing, and one aspect of this study involves biologists using artificial lures to elicit a defensive response from the males guarding the nests. Once caught, male bass are removed from the nesting area for one hour so the impacts of angling can be observed. Researchers captured some great underwater footage at nest locations during this study, so take a look and let us know what you think!

This is the last of the footage I have for this particular lake for 2013 enjoy! I will be back there next year, hopefully breaking the state record.
