Finally got around to this edit – only a year later ! Fishing in the FIPSed World Black Bass Championship 2015. Protea team managed a second place to the host nation Italy. Myself and Justy managed 3rd best boat for the tournament overall. Awesome trip and always a honour to represent South Africa on the big stage. Thanks to all my team mates for a great trip.
Catching a lot of bass on crankbaits, Pomme de Terre lake in SW Missouri! 1st day of Tri County Bass Club Championship with Randy Yancey of Largemouth Bass Nation. Caught lots of bass on crankbaits (#RapalaDT6) with 4 decent keepers for 5th place day 1!
EPIC DAY SPRING BASS FISHING AT LITTLE SENECA LAKE IN MARYLAND!!! I had special guest Michael from 1Rod1ReelFishing on board and we could not have picked a better day to team up and go Spring bass fishing. We both caught our first Maryland topwater bass of year with a buzzbait and Whopper Plopper and after boating over 20 bass between us, I caught my personal best Little Seneca Lake bass to end the day!!! With water temps. between 62-66 degrees, we caught what seemed to be mostly post spawn bass in 4-12 feet of water with a drop shot and shaky head running the show!
Thanks for watching!!!

Had a few hours Monday afternoon so went to Mill Creek on Table Rock lake to pre fish for our next USA Bassin Table Rock North Division coming up May 18th out of Mill Creek! Fished from 3 to 545 pm, caught one largemouth keeper on a DT6 Rapala crankbait!
Water was 5-6 feet high, and I was fishing the ‘green’ bushes. Fairly clear water compared to Ants Creek last Saturday, and ranged from 65-69 degrees. The few bed fish I fished weren’t willing to bite, just all looked and followed several soft baits!
Motorized kayaks should not only be allowed on tournaments they should be encouraged.
Why?? because they matter, and they do have a place in the future of the sport, anyways listen to my 5 reasons why motors should be part of tournaments.
