Alabama Bass Trail Tournament Series
Fishing with the most absurd topwater lure I’ve ever seen… It rattles, has a back propeller, and had two giant blades in the front, truly a frankenstein style bait!
The morning held perfect conditions for the pompadour, cloudy + windy. But once the sun came out the bass shut down so Cornell and I switched to finesse with shaky heads and drop shots. Plenty of numbers, and by the end of the day, we got dialed in on the grass lines and pulled out some chunky late summer bass!

This week I head to a public pond in my neighborhood to catch some big bass. The bass are just now starting to spawn, making this the best time to catch BIG bass! I caught 2 fish today, both on the spinnerbait. The spinnerbait definitely seems to be the best bait for this time of year. Hope you guys enjoyed this video! Watch me catch 25 pounds of largemouth bass in two casts while bass fishing on lake fork. The fish that were caught included a 9lb 12oz beast using the ever popular Alabama Rig or Umbrella Rig. I attached some Lake Fork Trophy Lures swim baits with a Dobyns Rod and 20lb LFT Fluorohybrid Pro line. This was filmed on the famous Texas bass fishing lake, known for it’s big bass and the potential to catch a huge bass at any time.
