In this episode I’m in Springville, Tennessee for the 2018 Kayak Bass Fishing National Championship, where one angler will take home $100,000 for catching bass from a plastic boat. Come along as I check out the Captain’s Meeting, then catch a GIANT BASS on day 1, then I put Miss Bobbe Jean on her first kayak bass before the weigh in.

This is part one of my series on documenting and recording my Largemouth Basses growth. They make great pets IF you have the right size aquariums and skills to keep them. Also keep in mind that it is illegal to release one into the wild(even if it was caught in that area) because they can spread diseases picked up in your tank. Please leave feed back so I can improve my videos later. Thanks!
Had 4 or 5 hours to fish Thursday afternoon so, as I had a Tri County Bass Club tournament there Saturday the 15th, decided to pre-fish a few hours! Warm day, with a few scattered clouds, slight breeze out of the NNE of 4-7 mph. Water temps were in the 75 to 78 degree range and the water was slightly stained from the rains a few days before! Launched from Mutton Creek about 1:30 and never got more than a mile away from the ramp. Got on a long bank and noticed the wind had shifted more from the SSE was kind of hitting that bank behind the point so decided to try spinnerbaits/crankbaits and caught a couple decent keeper smallmouth bass and a couple of short largemouth bass. All and all, a fun day on the lake!
