First Bass on Topwater Plopper Lure!

It has been a challenge to catch a bass on the Whopper Plopper topwater fishing lure until today! I went fishing in my kayak on the perfect early fall evening with great topwater fishing conditions. This normally gets the fish to swim farther away from cover to attack a lure. The River2Sea Whopper Plopper is bait designed by fishing legend Larry Dahlburg and was originally fished for muskie and other big predator fish. A few years ago, the smaller versions were released for fishing for bass and it has been a hot bait in 2016. In this video, I show you how I fished it to catch my first bass on it but I want to know how you think is the best way to fish this fun topwater fishing lure.
